The litterbox cover is made from solid kiln dried pine which makes it safer for chewing. There are 2 openings for easy entry to the litterbox. One on the front left and one on the left side. Lattice pieces are 3/8" thick all hand made and the support framing is 1" thick to support the lattice pieces. The lid will lift off and not be hinged, also has locating strips on the underside to keep it from sliding around and maintain position.
