This is a hay feeder and litterbox combo designed for a Bunny/Rabbit. This litterbox comes in different sizes and configurations in an attempt to fit your needs. The Trough design helps prevent the hay from dropping down into the litter pan causing it to be wasted. It catches the hay as they pull it out through the pine rods and contains it for your bunny to eat it later.
This litterbox has a hinged top on the hay feeder for easy fill ups. The litter pan is under a sturdy metal chicken wire which allows the area to remain clean without the litter being kicked up an out during usage. (Unless this option is not selected at checkout)
For the models with a food and water bowl, there is a raised platform which keeps the food and water up higher than the platform they stand on to help prevent stepping in either bowl.
Every Litterbox (regardless the size ordered) will have the litter pan edge completely under the wood platform to prevent any accidents between the pan corners and wood edge. There is a compartment for the litterbox to be slid out under the hay feeder so the whole litterbox does not need to be moved for a routine litter cleaning.
This item is made with 1/2" Thick maple plywood and is assembled with pin nails and Non-Toxic glue. These DO NOT come with a poly finish, they are smooth and unfinished just to prevent any chemicals on something that can be chewed on.
